The surrounding bush land is beautiful, you can sit outside on the deck and enjoy breakfast whilst looking at the view. The cabin was stocked with tea, coffee, biscuits and even food items for breakfast eg oats and pancake mix. We loved our relaxing stay and Mel was extremely helpful and friendly. It provided us all the comfort, style and cleanliness that we wish for in any size accommodation. The cottage includes a king size bed as well as a kitchen with a four gas burner cook top and an electric oven. While the space inside the cottage may be described as limited rather than tiny, there is plenty of space outside on a covered deck from which we admired the limitless views of the Great Dividing Range while surrounded by nature. In addition, Mel was the perfect host. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.Verified Mel’s place was incredible. Mel's warmth stood out & the conversations we had before arrival, during & after staying at Gumnut, have made me feel incredibly special. We really enjoyed having an indoor fireplace and outdoor fire pit. The accommodation has great views and is only a short drive to nearby attractions. Mel made the whole experience seamless from the moment we booked and provided lots of information on things to see and do in the local area. My girlfriend and I had the most amazing stay at this beautiful property! The cabin was stunning- not only was it immaculately clean and organised, it had a lovely cozy and relaxed feel to it- ideal for a country escape. The cabin also provided picturesque views, the mountains were so mesmerising- we did not want to leave!! The location is also perfect too- just a short drive to some awesome towns like Maffra and Heyfield, we loved exploring them. Would especially recommend making the trip to Walhalla, a beautiful old country town with heaps to do (we rode on the railway- an awesome ride that takes you through the mountains, the views were incredible). Not to mention Mel was the most amazing and loveliest host you could ask for, she truly went above and beyond to make our stay so memorable. In summary, this cabin is the PERFECT country escape!!!
